Subject Matter

Inspiration & Experimentation

I was inspired by the movie Frozen for my first idea for Charlie and Emilda. I originally wanted there to be a mother-daughter reunion after so many years apart.This made the plot of the comic complicated but allowed me to try another style. I am glad I had this option as it has taught me more skills that I needed.

This process taught me that it is good to use hand drawn pieces as well as photoshop as just using the latter can make a 2-D image which looks a little boring. Despite this I have learnt how to use photoshop better than before.

Final Work

My final piece of work on Illustrator was really interesting. I loved choosing the colour and the easy way of the colouring.Illustrator was an interesting process to use.This was probably mainly due to the fact that I'm not used to using this program. I enjoyed using Illustrator I still prefer Photoshop because I personally feel that everything on Photoshop is easily.
